Andrade & Fichtner composed the Host Committee of conference hosted by IBA
The law firm Andrade & Fichtner composed the Host Committee of the conference “Olympic-Size Investments: Business Opportunities and Legal Framework”, organized by the International Bar Association – IBA. The international conference was held on the 21st to the 23rd of February, 2011, at the Sofitel Hotel in Copacabana beach, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, which will host the 2016 Olympic Games. The conference was attended by lawyers, professors, executives, government officials and economists from many distinct countries.
José Antonio Fichtner, partner at the law firm Andrade & Fichtner, presided the panel on Environmental Law at the conference – entitled “Environment – Legacy to the future” – on February 23rd, alongside Eduardo Sanguinetti, of the Uruguayan law firm Sanguinetti Foderé Bragard Abogados.
